The Town Council has been contacted by Julia, the owner of 3 horses who has a constant supply of manure! The Manure is not well rotted, but due to the horse bedding being shavings rather than straw, the manure rots down quite quickly.
Julia would like to offer this manure free of charge and will load the manure into a trailer which can be collected by anyone with a tow bar, taken to the allotments and then the trailer returned.
If you would like to take up this offer or find out more, please email Julia on: julia@caninetherapy.co.uk

I've been to collect some manure from Julia today. It is raw but good stuff in as much as it is just horse droppings and straw. I spoke to Julia about the provenance and the grazing areas are not subject to any weed killers.
There will be a trailer load each week. I bagged mine up and took it away myself but Julia is happy for you to take the trailer and return it if you have a tow bar.
If you want to check the quality there is a pile on my plot now under the tarpaulin so feel free to take a look.
