Just back from a quick visit to the plot and I'm happy to say that Angus is nowhere near as spiteful and vindictive as his cousin Katie was earlier in the year. Though there are pools of water everywhere and plenty of blown leaves there doesn't appear to have been any major damage to sheds or greenhouses and walking down the site I couldn't see any evidence of cloches or polytunnels being blown over or ripped. Fingers crossed, it looks as if this one has been relatively uneventful.
It is very, very wet though and if, like me, you were thinking of doing any winter digging I'd suggest a couple of dry, frosty days are needed. I confined my activity to day to starting off some boad beans in pots in the cold greenhouse, per the authoritative advice of wilbarra.
