Please find attached the notes of the latest Plot Holders Committee meeting held on 2nd May.
Sadly our dear friend Wilbarra (John King) is standing down from the committee due to the pressure of other commitments. His contributions will be sorely missed, but John assures us he will still be an active contributor both to this forum and to daily life down at the America Lane site.
Would anyone be interested in joining the committee? We have room for at least 3 new volunteers. All welcome!
It is not an onerous commitment - 4 meetings a year (maximum) and the only qualification required is a real passion for gardening and ensuring our allotments continue to be a place of peace and horticultural pleasure - and of course to help us to promote our community both amongst our fellow plotholders and wider into the local community.
If you fancy knowing more..... come along to Seedling Swap Sunday, from 10am-12pm on Sunday 14th May and we will be happy to twist your arm.....
