Hi there,
The netting on my fruit cage has been falling in all year so it's time for some new stuff! I've looked up debris netting online to cover it with though I'm stuck to know what dimension would be best to buy.
So far I've mostly seen rolls which are 1m wide though that will make covering it properly tricky. I'd be grateful for any suggestions on where other people got their debris netting that did the job.
Also would be VERY thankful to borrow a staple gun for the grand recovering if anyone has one? I won't be attempting this until very early spring.
Thanks Joceline

Hi Joceline, For debris netting I found this www.scaffolding-direct.co.uk/debris-netting-2m-x-50m-green.aspx2 meters wide and pretty cheap it seems. I have used the following to cover my fruit, just over hoops as I don't have a cage. It has a much larger mesh which I guess helps to let in suitable insects but keep the birds off. Bit I think it would work out a lot more expensive than the debris netting. You can however buy it is various widths and by the meter. www.gardening-naturally.com/acatalog/Bird_Netting.htmlThere is other types of meeting on their site if that id not what you are after. If you want to see the bird netting i have some that was covering my sprouts but is now lying on the floor. Plot 5B. I dont have a staple gun I'm afraid. Phil is the guy with all the tools so might be worth asking him. Not sure his plot number but he is opposite me on the other side of the path. Cheers, Stuart.
