What a lovely day today. Got down early and got the first digging done. Even the little patch in the front got dug over. Planning what to plant is such fun and the whole family is now involved which was the idea of getting the allotment. Managed to tidy up a little bit too and found this little one:

Good work. I can't picture which plot you have so I'll have to remember to check it out next time I'm down. From the pictures it looks in pretty good shape.

Think my plot is across from yours to the left. It's got a buddleja next to the green house. Think a lady called Ann had it before. Went down today for a little look and ended up doing something work. Was not as bad as I thought it would be after the rain lately. Plot is not in a bad shape at all so very pleased with my choice of it.

Yes I know which one it is now. It was well looked after so it should be just a case of clearing the new weeds and it will be back into full flow.

a person called john payne had it for many years . he was the first person to have the plot and had it for many years until he became seriously ill. the next person to have it was a ray holman who also had it for a long time until he moved away. both kept the plot immaculate and were both frequent winners or runners up in the best kept allotment competion it is only in the last couple of years that it was allowed to get in such a bad state. nice to see it getting back to its former glory. well at least your half of it.
