Just back from a visit to the allotment (a depressing visit following a week away.. Oh so much has grown that shouldn't and crops are ripening faster than we can pick!!!) - and noticed the padlock on the front gate seems a tad iffy! Has anyone else noticed this? It unlocks fine but trying to get it to snap shut again is difficult. Perhaps it's just me ..

Hi jane and other readers. I have WD-40d the pivot side of the padlock this morning and tested it and that seems to have done the trick, at least for now. I have left the can of WD-40 in the loo - please do NOT confuse with air freshener!
