Pinch, punch, first of the month and many thanks to all of our readers and contributors. During October we passed 50, 000 page views in the lifetime of the forum and it now stands at over 53, 000. More remarkably we can look back at activity here in the last few months and it really is fascinating, bearing out the title I have given to the chart below. As you can see our page views peaked in April, then declined sharply, and more gradually through the high summer, and started their return in September, culminating in last month's great viewership. Although I haven't included the figures, the number of posts made follows a very similar pattern, ranging from 95 in April to 25 in July, and last month there were 68 posts. Interestingly, and very positively, we have had at least one new member in every month since January, the most recent being Laura from Burgess Hill. With your help and enthusiasm we will continue to grow and share our ideas, our enthusiasms, and even our non-gardening interests. Who would have thought to see posts about 1950s French Existentialists on a gardening site...but then again, why ever not?
