it appears that there were no inspections done over the winter period . the reason given at first was that even regular plot holders did not visit the site this winter because of the bad weather and that on information received from these same plot holders that they had not visited their plots during the winter period it was decided not to hold any inspections during the winter period. when it was pointed out that all the regular plot holders on the america lane site continued to visit the site all through the winter period and not one of them had been asked if they had visited and worked their plots. this was quickly changed to: "we got this information from plot holders from the oatall site and from allotment holders who visited the town hall on other matters. it was on this information gathered that we took a concience decision not to hold any inspections" i make no comment!

How familier to what happened where I had plot in blindley Heath. There was always excuses for not doing inspections. We took no notice of the one or two who kept going on about The site being deliberly run down, like willbara does on Yours There's now two semi-detached standing where my plot was.

further to the statement from the town hall, giving their reasons for not holding any inspections during the winter period (i calculate there should have been three) the town clerk has promised that normal, regular, inspections will be held in the future that means one is due this week. can we be assured that the inspection will take place and that the persons who were detailed to do the inspections by the environment committee at novembers meeting of that committee,be the ones doing it? I WONDER.
