The good news is that our summer planting of dahlias and sedums (thanks respectively to Andrew and to Stuart for these) is looking good, and the recent rains have brought them both on very well, and the dahlia blooms are coming into their own. The bad news is that the rain has brought on a fantastic development in the weeds! But, with the ground so soft, they're easily pulled up from the beds and if anyone has an hour to spare and can work on one of the corner quadrants or the front pathside bed it would show an instant result. We would also be very grateful if someone has a strimmer to raze the central area so that we can keep the weeds down till we're ready to sow grass seed later. No experience needed- all offers of asdsistance gratefully accepted!
