Thanks to everyone who came along and enjoyed themselves on a mostly sunny afternoon yesterday. We raised £60 for the St Catherine's Hospice through our raffle. Speial thanks to Councillor Matt Jeffers, Chair of the Town Council Environment and General Purposes committee who once again presented the Good Neighbour award. This year's very deserving winner was Pat Costello. Thanks also to Cllr Jack Langley of Bentswood, whose partner Beth is the tenant of 16A since May this year and already succeeding in turning a neglected plot back into cultivation. More pictures available soon and we'll post the best of them here.

Was a great afternoon and was so lovely to see some new faces as well as the "usual" 🤣🤣. Was possibly the best attended so far. Thank you all for coming to support.
You will be pleased to know that we sorted through the rubbish bags and recycled all the paper, cans and bottles and the cutlery is being sterilised and dishwashered ready for next time. So only a small amount of food waste will end up in landfill. From next event onwards we will be offering separate rubbish bags to separate out the recycling - thank you to my daughter for helping me sort the waste!!
A plea - I have mislaid a small pair of BBQ,tongs and two plastic boxes (containing the cakes!). If you ended up with them by mistake - please could you leave by my shed on Plot 15. Thanks!! See you for the Halloween event in October!! 😀
