Weather foul at the moment, but next weekend looking good: dry and partially sunny, so get ready to come and plant some bulbs and help us get the garden looking lovely for next Spring....oh, and there will be refreshments too. The new noticeboard needs a little work, I think...

"Then the rain let up and the sun came up And we were gettin' dry..."
Another dry day, amazingly after 3 weeks of seemingly relentless rain, for a festival event in the Community Garden, and once again it was attended by so many families.
It's really heartening when children get the gardening bug and learn so early on the important things in life - getting down and dirty!
Great food and drinks and so many helpful people who just turned up, grabbed a fork or trowel and started digging and weeding.
This week from Tuesday onward promises to be dry so we will complete all the good work and replant for next spring flowering. It's the end of our festivals for this year but not the end of gardening. We' ll be pruning the fruit trees in coming weeks and of course all of our own plots need weeding!
