A long time ago, or so it seems, ALPC planned to return to happier days with a BBQ in the Community Garden set for 11th July "Subject to COVID roadmap". Well we all know that roadmap wasn't quite finished - perhaps it hadn't been updated with new developments?
But now it does look as if we can plan although with a little caution and a lot of common sense and so we invite all plotholders and families at America Lane to come to the Garden on Sunday, August 15th from 2pm until 5 pm and enjoy meeting friends old and new. If the guidance allows we will set up bbqs on the hard standing , but if more caution is required we invite you to bring your own picnic. There will be a raffle in aid of a local charity with prizes great and small, there will be waste disposal and hand sanitiser provisions in place and we naturally hope for good weather.

It will be lovely to get some of our social events active again. Such a shame we cant fully share our BBQs and food - but we are moving slowly and a step in the right direction. Look forward to seeing old and new friends at the picnic/bbq! x
